  • Position: Information Governance Manager

    Description:

    The post holder will support the development and management of effective and robust Information Governance and Information Management systems and procedures for the Authority. In particular, they will have responsibility for delivery of an Information Governance Framework that enables the Authority to meet its significant statutory and legal obligations in respect of Information Governance, including Information Security, Information Compliance (eg Data Protection, Freedom of Information), Information Sharing, Data Quality and Assurance and Information Management.

  • Position: ICT Systems Development Officer July 2017

    Description:

    To assist in the development and maintenance of applications in order to deliver solutions in response to organisational needs.

    You will work as part of the development team to assist in the design, development, documentation, monitoring and maintenance of new and existing applications, systems and reports to meet specific organisational requirements.

    You will ensure that all ICT support, services or resources are dealt with in line with our customer charter, standards and procedures and that all development work is managed within our project framework.

    You should have demonstrable experience in application development including ASP.net, C#, SQL server, JavaScript, HTML and XML and be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant computing discipline.

  • Position: Youth Intervention Trainer

    Description:

    The purpose of this post is to support the Youth Intervention Team Manager in all aspects of the delivery and development of Youth Interventions delivered by West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service included in the Youth Interventions Booklet.

    You will need to demonstrate an excellent understanding of the issues affecting vulnerable young people and encourage and inspire behaviour change. You will have highly developed training skills and experience of programme leadership.

    You will be skilled and experienced in developing and managing creative interventions with young people, be passionate about young peoples’ safety and have the right interpersonal skills to really make a difference.

    The post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring check and the possession of a full valid driving licence.

  • Position: Committee Services Manager (Fixed term)

    Description:

    To provide a comprehensive committee service to the Authority and democratic process support services to members.

    You will attend meetings and advise Members on matters of procedure, recorded fact or other issues as appropriate, be responsible for the preparation of agendas, draft minutes and reports of meetings, initiate the follow up of matters arising from work of the Authority and its committees, liaise with senior officers of the Authority, other Local Authorities, Government Departments and Members of Parliament and maintain and develop administration systems and procedures with regard to the committee service.

    You will have experience of working within a local authority committee administration or similar administration management experience at a senior level, have experience and knowledge of local government structures, procedure and administration and have possession of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administration qualification or equivalent such as a relevant degree.
