Tenders and Procurement

We are committed to being an open, accountable and transparent public authority. As part of this commitment we are publishing details of the contracts that we currently hold, as well as of those which are due for retender.

This is in line with the government’s promise to ensure that public authorities are transparent about their contract expenditure and tender opportunities.

WYFRS operates an open tendering process and details of all goods, services, and works contracts procured with a value exceeding £5,000 can be found using the tabs below.

These datasets are freely re-usable under the terms of the Open Government Licence (Opens in a new window)

We often “call-off” contracts from public sector Framework Agreements that contain pre-approved suppliers (the Fire Consortium and the Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation being two examples).

When we need to procure outside of Frameworks, we publish quotation and tender opportunities through the delta e-sourcing portal ( which is free for suppliers to register and use.

Registered suppliers can set automatic alerts against types of contract opportunities they are interested in monitoring.

Contracts register

The contracts register is a record of the contracts we hold with a value of £5,000 or more, in line with the Authority’s contract procedure rules.

The contracts register is updated on a quarterly basis to reflect current, live contracts and includes information on their total values, what they are for and who we are contracting with.

These datasets are freely re-usable under the terms of the Open Government Licence (Opens in a new window).

The register can be viewed below and are published in CSV and Excel format for your convenience:
