Co-operation is encouraged between the key partners to make West Yorkshire safer. Training sessions have been introduced with partners in other agencies and staff meet on a regular basis with the Neighbourhood Policing Teams. These partners assist us by identifying people at risk, providing referrals and assisting vulnerable members of society in the area. Personnel continue to engage in community activity and attend neighbourhood forums, partnership meetings and local projects (fun/information days).

The fire station was built in 1970 and borders with Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service.
