Crews have been in attendance all night, but have now left the scene with one crew from Hunslet remaining. No apparatus currently in use. Fire Investigation are currently at the scene to determine a cause.

Structural engineer has been in attendance. Incident closed 14:48.

Description:

Six fire appliances are in attendance at a commercial building fire in Shafton Lane, Holbeck, Leeds.   

Building 10m x 30m, 70% involved in fire.  Crews are using two breathing apparatus, one large jet and one hose reel to tackle the fire.

Residents nearby are advised to keep doors and windows closed due to large amount of smoke in the area.
