0800 UPDATE

Incident now reduced to 2 fire engines. Partner agencies Northern Gas Network and Northern Powergrid also attended.

 

0600 UPDATE

We have scaled down to 2 fire engines and 1 aerial appliance at scene. They have 2 hosereels and 1 aerial in use.

 

0500 UPDATE

Incident now scaling down with supporting resources and officers leaving the incident.

No persons involved or injured and all persons accounted for.

 

INCIDENT

Crews were initially mobilised to an unknown fire in the Holbeck area.

Initial crews discovered a building fire and requested 4 fire engines and an aerial appliance.

After further investigation, crews requested a further 2 fire engines and supporting resources and officers.

2 Fire Fighters in breathing apparatus, 2 large jets and 1 hosereel in use. A row of buildings approx. 40m x 8m are approx. 20% involved in fire on 1 floor.

West Yorkshire Police and Yorkshire Ambulance Service also in attendance.
