We are still in attendance at an incident in North Street, Keighley where a fire has spread from a takeaway to flats above. We were called at 9.20am this morning to the fire and we currently have four crews at the scene. The fire is believed to have been started when flames from a cooker spread to an extractor flue. Police and ambulance are in attendance and the flats have been evacuated. Firefighters are using breathing apparatus, hose reels and a triple extension ladder to help extinguish the flames. The scene has been closed at the junction of Alice Street and Mornington Street. A woman and child have been taken to hospital with smoke inhalation.
