Crews remained on site until 4.20am this morning damping down & the incident is now closed.

UPDATE | 18:30

The fire is under control. 

🚒The incident has been scaled back and 4 fire engines remain on scene tackling remaining pockets of waste on fire.

Description:

Skip and waste management plant – on arrival crews made pumps 10. Large piles of recycled tyres and waste involved approx. 60m x 30m. Incident sectorised and large jets used in each sector.
