The first ever West Yorkshire Fire Service Awards and Recognition ceremony has been held at FSHQ, with colleagues from across the service recognised for their hard work and dedication.
Nominees and VIP guests including the Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire Ed Davey, Deputy Mayor Alison Lowe OBE, and the Chief Constable of West Yorkshire Police John Robins, gathered not only to celebrate individual and collective achievement, but also to reaffirm our shared values and vision for the future.
This event marks a new tradition, one that seeks to shine a light on the exceptional contributions—both seen and unseen—that make our service not just effective but remarkable.
Categories included awards for bravery, dedicated service and innovation.
Nominations were considered with care, precision and extended consideration and we would like to extend our congratulations to all who were nominated for their amazing work.
