Updating Your Pension Information

If you are receiving a pension from your employment as a firefighter, control operator, or a member of our support staff then it is very important that you keep your pension record up to date. If you change your bank details, move home, or would like to update your beneficiary then you should contact West Yorkshire Pension Fund (WYPF), who administer our pension schemes, to let them know. This is also the case if you paid into a pension scheme whilst employed by West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, but you have not yet retired.

It would be helpful if you could quote your pension member number or your National Insurance number on any correspondence so that WYPF can locate your pension record.

Managing your Pension Online

WYPF also provides an online service, known as MyPension, where you can view your pension details and update some of your personal information. You can also download your payslips and P60s if you are a retired member, and your annual benefit statement if you have not yet retired.
