End terraced house, fire on 1st floor, 50% involved in the fire, 6 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and positive pressure ventilation fans were used. No exposure risk. 1 adult and 1 child self-rescued from property suffering from smoke inhalation and taken to hospital by ambulance. No smoke detectors were fitted in the property.

We were called at 10:40 to  Boothroyds Way in Featherstone to reports of a foal stuck in the mud.

The horses mother was also in attendance.

We were called at 17:40 to Westgate in Heckmondwike to reports of a road traffic collision between three vehicles.

Crews from Cleckheaton and Dewsbury attended and freed one female casualty who was trapped.

She was left in the care of the Ambulance Service along with three other casualties. 

West Yorks Fire service were called to reports of 2 males in the canal near Chantry Bridge, Doncaster Road, Wakefield. 2 males were rescued from the water by fire service personnel.

We were called at 09.52 to Elland Lane to reports of a house fire, with a person reported to be inside the property.

Crews from Rastrick, Halifax and Huddersfield used breathing apparatus, positive pressure ventilation and hose reels to extinguish the fire.

We were called at 10:55 to reports of a building fire on Burley Road in Leeds

Three crews attended, from Leeds and Hunslet. This was found to be a fire in the kitchen of commercial premise, on ground floor of 9 storey building,

We were called at 07:05 to reports of a fire at a flat on Great Horton Road in Bradford.

On arrival this was a derelict building involved crews from Bradford and Fairweather Green used hose reels and breathing apparatus to extinguish the blaze.

We were called to reports of a house fire at 14.06 on Blenheim Road in Bradford

This was found to be a house with 50% of the first floor involved in fire.

Crews from Shipley, Fairweather Green and Bradford used breathing apparatus hose reels and positive pressure ventilation to extinguish the blaze.

 

Alarm monitoring company passed fire alarm – crews found smoke issuing from door of flat on 9th floor – crews gained access – 2 breathing apparatus, 1 large jet and a PPV fan used.
