Fire in bedroom of domestic property, it was suspected that persons were still inside but all persons had exited property prior to arrival of fire service. Crews used 1 hose reel, 2 breathing apparatus and a high powered fan to clear smoke from the property. 1 female suffered smoke inhalation and was given oxygen therapy by fire service crews, she was then checked over by ambulance crews but unsure if hospital treatment was required. Smoke detection was fitted and did actuate.

Fire on 1st floor of terraced property, 1st floor was 100 per cent involved in fire. Crews have used 2 hose reel, 6 breathing apparatus and a high powered fan to clear smoke from the property. 1 female occupant suffered smoke inhalation, she was checked over at the scene by ambulance crews but did not require hospital treatment. Smoke detection was fitted and did actuate.

Initial call from alarm receiving centre for alarm actuation. Further calls stated this was a property fire. On arrival crews made this possible persons trapped inside. Neighbour was treated by Ambulance on scene, and was taken to hospital suffering smoke inhalation. 2 Breathing apparatus, 1 Hose Reel, and Positive pressure ventilation were used at this incident. Fire investigation attended incident to ascertain cause of fire. 

Fire crews are in attendance following four large haystacks catching fire in open countryside. Five pumps were called to Hall Farm Road, in Swillington. In attendance were pumps and crews from Castleford, Hunslet, Rothwell and two from Killingbeck stations following the initial call out. This has now been reduced to three engines, as crews remain on site damping down. Crews have said there is no danger to local residents, but have advised people to close doors and windows, should they smell the smoke. There are no road closures and no danger to lives.

A crew from Morley initially responded to an automatic fire alarm, on arrival they passed a priority message for a confirmed building fire Make Pumps 3 when two further appliances were mobilised from Hunslet.  The fire involved a microwave in a kitchen in a two-storey building measuring approximately 10 x 40m.  1 hose reel and 2 breathing apparatus were used to extinguish the fire.  Positive p
