This was a mill building 30m x 15m 2 aerials, 4 large jets and 2 hose reels used to extinguish the fire.

Call received from the ambulance control room requesting the attendance of the fire service to a road traffic collision involving 1 large goods vehicle and 1 car against a fence. 1 female casualty trapped in the car. Technical rescue vehicles mobilised to the incident but returned by crews on scene. Casualty was extricated by fire service personnel and put in care of the ambulance service. Police were also in attendance.

Crews were called to a domestic property fire in the Birkby area of Huddersfield. Upper floor bedroom involved in fire, 100% involved. Upon arrival, crews requested 2 more fire appliances for personnel and an aerial appliance to attend.

Police requested fire service assistance to a young female at the edge of the river at Clarence Dock, Leeds city centre.  A further update was received from police confirming that the female had entered the water and a full water rescue attendance was mobilised from Hunslet and Leeds station with the addition of a technical rescue officer.  Crews set up water rescue downstream and were able to safely remove the female from the water. Both police and ambulance services were on scene.

Bedroom fire in a ground floor flat within a two-storey building.  Bedroom was 100% involved.  4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reels used to extinguish the fire and positive pressure ventilation fan used to clear smoke logging that had occurred on the first floor.

House fire involving kitchen towels which had caught fire from oven top.  2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel used to extinguish fire.  Ambulance Service were requested for one casualty suffering from smoke inhalation.  First aid was administered to casualty by Fire crews prior to ambulance arrival.  Smoke alarms were fitted downstairs but were not working.  Crews fitted new sm
