Crews were called to reports of smoke issuing from derelict mill. On arrival this was smoke issuing from basement. 2 Breathing Apparatus, 1 Hose Reel used. Police requested for traffic management. 1 Female led to safety by Crews.

Three vehicle road traffic collision, one person trapped in vehicle with leg pain. Police and Ambulance also on scene. Crews extricated casualty and left them in care of Yorkshire Ambulance Service. Council Highways also requested to incident due to icy conditions.

Road traffic collision involving three vehicles. One 47 year old female casualty, conscious and breathing, trapped in vehicle due to her injuries and extricated by fire service via roof removal. Police and ambulance attended and casualty taken into care of paramedics. Further casualties suffering injuries but not trapped also seen to by paramedics, one casualty self presented at Airedale hospital. Police remaining on scene.

Some incredible never seen before photos have been released by fire service staff as the number of archived pictures reaches two million.

Fire in first floor flat above row of shops in Moortown, Leeds. Crews made the incident persons reported and increased pumps to five plus an aerial appliance with support crews. 75 per cent or property involved in fire with exposure risks to two sides and crews used two breathing apparatus and four hose reels to extinguish the fire . Crews confirmed all persons were accounted for and incident reduced to two pumps.

Reports of smoke from hotel room.

On arrival crews rescued one male in his 40’s from the hotel room suffering from smoke inhalation, the casualty was handed over to paramedics.

Just after 2:40am we received reports of a fire inside a commercial building on Bradford Road, Batley. 

On arrival, fire crews escalated the incident to six crews and two aerial appliances, and then further increased to ten crews.  Fire crews are currently using three large jets, two aerial appliances, two hose reels and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the blaze.

Initial call reported flames from all the windows of the house and the caller was unsure if anyone was still inside.  On arrival this was a fire in the kitchen 10% involved, 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel used with structural damage to the property including front and bedroom windows removed from blast damage.  After a search of the property it was confirmed no persons were inside, adjacent properties were evacuated as a precaution.
