Report of a vehicle smoking after a Road Traffic Collision. On arrival it was found that 1 person was trapped in the vehicle, casualty was released by fire service personnel and then transported to hospital by ambulance.

This was a report of a Road Traffic Collision involving 4 vehicles with 1 vehicle reported as smoking and possibly on fire. On arrival there was no fire but 1 person was trapped. Casualty was extricated by fire service personnel and then transported to hospital by ambulance.

Flat 100% involved in fire. 2 hose reels, 4 breathing apparatus and positive pressure ventilation used.

Smoke alarms installed and working.

Appliances from Wakefield, Ossett and Normanton attended.

Call from ambulance to assist in the rescue of a male who had been involved in road traffic collision whilst on his bike.  He had left the road and was injured down a deep ditch.  Fire crews arrived on scene and rescued the casualty then placed in the care of ambulance crews.  Appliances from Ilkley and Otley were mobilised along with specialist line rescue teams from Rawdon and Cleckheaton.  Ilkley appliance were able to rescue the casualty safely and succesfully prior to arrival of the other appliances.

Reports received of a house fire with someone trapped inside.  On arrival, fire was out and 1 female was treated by ambulance crews suffering from the effects of smoke.  She was taken to hospital by ambulance.

3 cars involved in road traffic collision.  There were no persons trapped, however, fire crews administered first aid to 1 casualty whilst awaiting the arrival of paramedics.  There was a second casualty who also presented at the scene and both were taken to hospital by ambulance.

Make pumps 8 - Fire in industrial premise - Building 100m x 50m, fire located in rubbish machine inside building, crews have used 5 breathing apparatus, 2 jets, 2 hose reels and a high powered fan to clear smoke from the building. Crews being assisted by works personnel to turn over rubbish involved using a heavy duty plant digger. 2 casualties have suffered smoke inhalation and have been treated by ambulance crews - incident is currently in process of being reduced to 4 pumps

House fire - On arrival this was made persons reported make pumps 4.  One disabled female rescued from property with smoke inhalation.  6 breathing apparatus, 3 hose reels and 1 positive pressure ventilation fan used
