A man has today been sentenced for arson after lighting potentially 'catastrophic' fire on Ilkley Moor

Fire in bedroom of domestic property. Crews used 1 hose reel, 2 breathing apparatus and a high powered fan to clear smoke from the property. 1 female suffered burns to hand, was treated at the scene by fire service personnel and then made own way to hospital for treatment.

Fire in shop premise with flats above, incident made pumps 4 on arrival. Small fire on ground floor, 20 per cent involved, crews used 2 hose reels, 6 breathing apparatus and a high powered fan to clear smoke from the building. Crews also had to check neighbouring properties for firespread. No persons involved.

Fire in basement of a 6 storey derelict mill. It was suspected that persons may be sleeping in the building and incident was made up to 3 pumps and persons reported on arrival. After a search of building it was found that no persons were involved. Crews used 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reels and 3 high powered fans to clear smoke from the building

Report of a chimney that had collapsed internally into a domestic property with reports that persons were possibly trapped inside. On arrival it was found that no persons were trapped, however 1 male occupant had been struck by falling debris and ambulance was requested to treat him for a head injury. Local authority structural engineer was requested to attend to check damage to the building.

Road Traffic Collision Involving 2 cars, 1 female was trapped, released by fire service personnel and then transported to hospital by ambulance.

Single vehicle road traffic collision. Car had left carriageway and came to rest against a tree down a banking. 1 male was trapped, released by fire service personnel and then transported to hospital by ambulance.

One car into canal with occupant stood on car roof.  Casualty removed by firefighters wearing dry suits and using a 105 ladder.
