Derelict building, make pumps 5, make pumps 8

A further 3 pumps had been mobilised by control staff prior to arrival of the first 2 appliances due to information received.

2 storey derelict building involved, fire on ground floor. 6 breathing apparatus, 3 large jets and 1 hose reel used.

No persons involved.

Appliances from Rawdon, Cookridge, Otley, Stanningley, Bradford, Moortown, Bingley, Fairweather Green attended along with supporting specials from Featherstone, Mirfield and Skelmanthorpe.

1 vehicle involved with 1 person trapped. Extrication carried out by fire service personnel and casualty transferred to hospital by ambulance.

Small fire out on arrival. 1 elderly male suffered smoke inhalation and crews gave first aid until arrival of Ambulance. 

Smoke detection installed and worked. 

Fire investigation officer not required.

We currently have a number of crews in attendance at a moorland fire in Marsden. We were called today at 13.30 to reports of a fire near March Haigh Reservoir.

The fire front is believed to be around 1.5km. Crews are using the argocat, beaters and blowers to tackle it. The public are being asked to avoid the area.

Crews in attendance at this time including supporting crews are: Meltham, Slaithwaite, Holmfirth, Skelmanthorpe Todmorden and Halifax.

Road traffic collision involving 1 car, with 1 casualty trapped.  Fire crews extricated the casualty and handed them over to the waiting ambulance for treatment.

High voltage electrical sub-station involved in fire.  1 casualty suffered from burns and was taken to hospital via ambulance. 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel were used to extinguish the fire.  Fire crews worked closely with Police and Northern Powergrid in order to resolve the issue.

Road traffic collision, 2 cars involved with 1 casualty trapped.  Fire crews extricated the casualty from the vehicle and handed them over to Paramedics on scene.
