Barn fire, single storey, 40 metres x 15 metres. Fire on ground floor, 100% involved. Building was used to store vehicles. 

Crews used 2 ground monitors, 2 hose reels and 2 large jets to extinguish the fire.

4 fire engines attended.

Fire crews from across West Yorkshire are currently dealing with a large moorland fire near Cupwith Reservoir in Huddersfield.

Numerous specialist wildfire vehicles and support appliances are in attendance.

Firefighters from Killingbeck and Garforth Fire Stations have attended a fire in the roof void of a single storey building.  The roof void measured approximately 25 x 25m and was 10 percent involved in fire.  4 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reels were used to extinguish the fire and a high pressure fan was used to clear smoke from the property.

Firefighters from Shipley, Fairweather Green and Bradford fire stations attended a fire in a three-storey semi-detached house measuring approximately 15 x 10 metres.  2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet were used to extinguish the fire, and a high-pressure fan was used to clear smoke from the property.

Crews attended a building fire in an off-licence earlier this evening and used 4 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reels to extinguish the fire. Crews also used 3 positive pressure ventilation fans to clear smoke from multiple adjoining properties.

Fire fighters from Odsal, Fairweather Green and Bradford fire stations attended a house fire.  This was a back-to-back terraced property that was 50% involved in fire.  4 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reels were used to extinguish the fire.  Northern Power and Northern Gas Networks requested to isolate utilities.  No persons were involved. No smoke detection fitted.

Flat fire above commercial premise.  Crews used 1 hose reel and 2 breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.  An ambulance was requested for 3 occupiers suffering from the effects of smoke.  Smoke detectors were fitted and working at the time of the incident.

Call to a horse stuck in a muck heap, unable to release itself.  Crews on scene secured the horse and managed to release it into the care of the owner.

Firefighters from Dewsbury, Morley and Spen Valley stations attended a kitchen fire in a second floor flat in a three-storey building.  2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel were used to extinguish the fire.  2 female casualties with smoke inhalation were given oxygen therapy by fire service personnel prior to the arrival Ambulance service.  5 cats were also rescued safely from the property. 

Smoke detection was fitted and actuated.

Firefighters from Moortown, Leeds and Hunslet stations attended a fire in ground floor flat within a 5 storey building.  6 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reels were used to extinguish the fire, and a high-pressure fan was used to clear smoke from the property.  Flats on the floors above were all checked for smoke spread.
