Firefighters from Fairweather Green along with our Technical Rescue Unit from Cleckheaton and a specialist Technical Rescue Officer responded to the report of a jack russell dog and a fox trapped approximately 5 metres in an underground tunnel measuring approximately 30cm wide.  After digging through the tunnel firefighters were able to safely release both animals.

Bedroom 100% involved and spread to 30% of roof which lead to part of the roof collapsing. 2 hose reels and 4 breathing apparatus used. Fire investigation officer also attended.

Appliances from Halifax, Mytholmroyd and Rastrick attended.

Firefighters from Keighley, Bingley and Shipley stations responded to a fire in a first floor flat within a three-storey property.  The fire was confined to the living room.  1 hose reel and 2 breathing apparatus were used to extinguish the fire, and a high-pressure fan was used to clear smoke from the property.  One casualty with smoke inhalation was left in the care of Yorkshire Ambulance Service. 

Firefighters from Killingbeck and Leeds responded to a fire in a first floor flat within a two-storey domestic property.  The fire was confined to the bedroom and involved a mattress, however the whole flat was affected by smoke.   1 hose reel and 4 breathing apparatus were used to extinguish the fire, and a high-pressure fan was used to clear smoke from the property.  Smoke detectors were fitted and were actuating on arrival. 

We are currently in attendance at a large vehicle fire on the #M62.
 

Road closures are in place between junctions J22 #Saddleworth and J23 #Huddersfield.
