A group of firefighters from West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (WYFRS) are embarking on a mammoth fundraising challenge to raise money in memory of those who lost their lives in the Bradford C

Kitchen fire involved in semi detached property. Crews used 2 hose reels, 4 breathing apparatus and positive pressure ventilation to extinguish the fire. Smoke alarms had been fitted in the property and had actuated.

2 cars involved, 1 casualty trapped, extricated by fire service crews on scene and taken to hospital by ambulance.

Crews have attended a house fire, persons reported. Fire crews rescued one adult male casualty from the property. Casualty was transported to hospital by Ambulance Service. Crews used 1 hose reel, 2 breathing apparatus and positive pressure ventilation to extinguish the fire in the kitchen area. Smoke alarms had actuated and alerted the neighbours.

Firefighters from Stanningley, Leeds and Bradford stations attended a fire in a ground floor kitchen in a semi-detached house.  4 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reels were used to extinguish the fire, and a high-pressure fan was used to clear smoke from the property.  No persons were involved.

Three fire engines were mobilised to the report of a building on fire.  On arrival crews immediately requested a further two fire engines and supporting resources.

This was a two-storey commercial building measuring approximately 20 x 20 metres, 50 percent involved in fire. Firefighters used a total of 4 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reels to fight the fire.

Firefighters from Bradford and Fairweather Green stations attended a fire involving a sofa in a ground floor living room of a two-storey mid terraced house.  2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel were used to extinguish the fire and a high-pressure fan was used to clear smoke that had affected the whole property.  No persons were involved.

Crews responded to a call from a lady who was stuck in a bog up to her waist on moorland in Holmfirth area whilst walking her dog. Crews successfully located the lady and led her to safety. She was left in the care of the ambulance service for a check up.

Fire engine from Holmfirth attended along with specialist resources and officers from technical rescue and water rescue stations.
