Barn/agricultural fire, spread to second barn. 8 appliances attending. Fire crews are using breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to fight the fire.

 

We are being assisted in this incident by colleagues from Greater Manchester FRS.

Road traffic collisions between 2 cars, 1 vehicle was on its side.  1 person rescued by fire service from overturned vehicle and in care or Yorkshire Ambulance.

End terraced house, fire on 1st floor, 50% involved in the fire, 6 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and positive pressure ventilation fans were used. No exposure risk. 1 adult and 1 child self-rescued from property suffering from smoke inhalation and taken to hospital by ambulance. No smoke detectors were fitted in the property.

Fire in a bedroom in a three-storey mid terraced property.  2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel and positive pressure ventilation fan used.  Yorkshire Ambulance Service requested for a female with smoke inhalation.  Smoke detectors were fitted and working

We were called at 10:40 to  Boothroyds Way in Featherstone to reports of a foal stuck in the mud.

The horses mother was also in attendance.

We were called at 17:40 to Westgate in Heckmondwike to reports of a road traffic collision between three vehicles.

Crews from Cleckheaton and Dewsbury attended and freed one female casualty who was trapped.

She was left in the care of the Ambulance Service along with three other casualties.
