Crews used 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reels and positive pressure ventilation to extinguish the fire. Yorkshire Ambulance Service attended for 1 adult male suffering smoke inhalation.
2 engines from Huddersfield and 1 from Meltham attended.

INCIDENT
Crews were initially mobilised to an unknown fire in the Holbeck area.
One hybrid car involved in collision and 1 casualty trapped. Casualty extricated by fire service personnel and left in the care of Yorkshire Ambulance Service. Vehicle checked and left in hands of West Yorkshire Police for recovery.
Crews are currently in attendance at a building fire in South Elmsall. There are 5 fire engines on scene along with 1 Aerial Appliance and multiple officers.
