2 cars involved. 1 female trapped, extrication carried out by fire service personnel and casualty was transferred to hospital by ambulance.

Fire involving two outbuildings that had spread to house.  4 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reels used. 1 gas cylinder also involved. Mains gas into property affected causing leak into property.  Northern Gas Network attended to isolate supply.

Crews responded to report of a border collie dog that had fallen into the culvert of a reservoir.  Dog rescued by fire crew using an improvised platform and handed over to owner.

Fire in an attic room of house. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel and positive pressure ventilation fan used to clear smoke.

Reports received of a building fire. On arrival crews confirmed building fire 25m x 15m, heavily smoke logged. 4 breathing apparatus sets, 2 hose reels and positive pressure ventilation used to extinguish the fire. Incident proved to be fire in a heating fan.

Flats above commercial property 80m x 20m 5% involved with exposure risk to 3 sides. 4 storey building with fire on ground floor.  11 breathing apparatus sets, 4 hose reels and positive pressure ventilation used. 8 persons self rescued prior to arrival of Fire Service and 4 people were led to safety by crews on our arrival.

3 jets and 1 ground monitor in use.

Residents of Northgate Lodge, Pontefract are advised to keep windows and doors closed.

Fire in bedroom of domestic property, Crews used 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel and a high powered fan to clear smoke from the property. 1 male suffered burns to lower back and also suffered smoke inhalation and 1 female also suffered smoke inhalation. Both casualties transported to hospital by a family member. Smoke detection was fitted in the property and did actuate.

Reports received of a domestic property fire.  Crews from Mirfield and Dewsbury were mobilised and on arrival confirmed this was an electric scooter involved.  Fire extinguished using 4 breathing apparatus sets and 1 large jet. Ambulance crews were requested for 1 female casualty suffering from the effects of smoke.
