Fire in a communal hallway on 3rd floor of property.  Crews used 4 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reels to extinguish fire, and positive pressure ventilation fan used to clear smoke.  One casualty was rescued by fire service personnel and given oxygen therapy before handing over to ambulance.  Smoke detectors were fitted and working at the time of the incident.

A total of 640 years’ service was celebrated today at West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service’s Ann

Fire in the attic of a two storey house. Attic had been converted into a bedroom and was 40 percent involved.  No casualties were involved.  Crews used 1 hose reel and 2 breathing apparatus to extinguish fire. There was no smoke detection fitted in property.

Crane fire on the hard shoulder of the M62 between junctions 25 and 26 nearly underneath Chain Bar roundabout, on arrival of the first fire engine the crews made this up to 5 fire engines for water, 7 minutes later this was made up to 7 fire engines for provision of water as there was also a fuel fire in the run off from the fire. 

2 hose reels, 1 large jet and 3 breathing apparatus where used to extinguish the fire.  Fire was out at 17:11.

Road traffic collision involving one car with one person trapped and 3 walking wounded. Fire & Rescue crews carried out extrication and casualties were transported to hospital by Yorkshire Ambulance Service.

Domestic property fire, persons reported. Chip pan involved in fire, out on crew arrival. Crews used a high powered fan to clear smoke. 1 casualty was rescued, and given first aid and oxygen therapy before being handed over to ambulance.
