400m flame front.  Beaters and blowers in use.  Specialist wildfire vehicle in attendance.

Road Traffic Collision involving 3 cars, 1 male trapped, released by fire service personnel and then transported to hospital by ambulance.

Crews were called to a flat fire with 75% of the flat involved, and risks to other surrounding flats in the block.  Crews used 6 breathing apparatus, 3 hose reels,1 large jet and a high powered fan to extinguish the fire and rid the properties of smoke.  No rescues were carried out, although 1 occupant was treated by fire crews with oxygen, and then by ambulance crews for smoke inhalation.  Smoke detectors were fitted and working at the time of the incident.

Scrapyard with multiple vehicles and tyres involved in fire. Crews from Ossett, Dewsbury, Wakefield, Morley, Hunslet, Pontefract and Normanton are in attendance along with supporting officers and resources.

Princes Trust students re-purpose firefighting equipment to revamp Salvation Army shop

**Update at 03:25**: Incident has now been increased to 15 pumps and 3 aerials along with various other specialist resources including hose laying equipment and a high volume pump.  Approximately 100 fire fighters and specialist officers are currently on scene tackling the blaze which is involving heavy machinery and stacks of scrap metal.  Advice still remains in place for properties and businesses in the local area to keep all doors and windows closed whilst we are safely extinguishing the fire.
