Fire crews were called to reports of a high-rise building fire just before 6pm this evening (12 July). 

The fire was contained to a flat fire on the 5th floor.  Residents were evacuated from the 5th and 6th floors as a precaution as firefighters tackled the fire.

All persons were accounted for.

Pan on fire in kitchen, 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose and high powered fan used to extinguish the fire and get rid of the smoke.  1 casualty at the property suffered from smoke inhalation and was attended to by paramedics on scene.  Smoke detectors were fitted and working at the time of the incident.

This was 2 portacabins involved in fire, 15m x 10m, 100% involved in fire.  2 breathing apparatus,  2 large jets and 1 hose reel was used to extinguish the fire. 4 fire engines dealt with the incident.

Flat fire, 100% involved in fire. Crews used 2 hose reels, 4 breathing apparatus and positive pressure fans to extinquish the fire.

Fire investigation officer is on scene investigating cause of fire.

Crews from Leeds and Stanningley attended this incident.

No persons were involved.

Smoke alarms had actuated.

Domestic property fire, chip pan involved.  4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reels and a high powered fan were used to extinguish the fire and get rid of the smoke.  1 occupant removed themselves from the property and required medical attention due to the effects of taking on smoke.  Smoke detectors were fitted and working at the property at the time of the incident.

1 vehicle involved, 1 person trapped.  Crews extricated casualty and handed them over to waiting paramedics for transportation to hospital.

Domestic property fire, bedroom of ground floor flat involved. 4 Breathing apparatus. 2 Hose reels used. Crews requested Fire investigation officer to attend to ascertain cause of fire.

Road traffic collision involving 1 large vehicle and 1 car. 1 casualty trapped,  extricated by fire service then handed over to the care of paramedics.

Four Fire appliances are in attendance at an address in Leeds dealing with a domestic property fire. Two casualties have suffered smoke inhalation and have gone to hospital for further care. Six firefighters extinguished the fire using hose reels and breathing apparatus.

Young horse stuck on its back unable to get up. Crews liaised with vet via video call and were able to successfully get the horse to its feet.
