Road traffic collision involving three cars.  Fire Service personnel extricated one casualty using specialist cutting equipment.  Casualty was left in the care of Yorkshire Ambulance Service and Fire Service made scene safe.

Fire involving first floor of a two storey back to back terraced property.  Crews used 4 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reels to extinguish the fire, and positive pressure ventilation fan used to clear the smoke.

Single storey building involved in fire. 100m x 20m. 10% involved. Crews used 6 breathing apparatus and 4 hose reels.

5 fire engines currently in attendance along with supporting resources.

Domestic property fire, kitchen involved. 

Fire Service crews used 2 hose reels and 4 breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire. 

1 adult suffered smoke inhalation and was treated by Yorkshire Ambulance Service. 

No smoke detection fitted.

Fire crews were called to a moorland fire on Close Moss, Marsden Moor just after 1pm this afternoon.

500 square meters of moorland was involved in fire.

Firefighters from Slaithwaite, Todmorden, Keighley, Skelmanthorpe, Meltham and Rochdale used blowers to extinguish the fire.

The fire was out just before 3pm.

House fire in semi detached property, fire was confined to the living room. One adult female was rescued by Fire Service personnel and left in care of the Yorkshire Ambulance Service.

Crews used 4 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel and positive pressure ventilation to extinguish the fire.

Smoke alarms had actuated in the property 

Reports of a new born calf stuck in the middle of a pond.  Technical rescue crews used specialist animal rescue techniques and equipment to rescue the calf and deliver it back to its mother.
