Crews were mobilised to a 2 car road traffic collision. 

On arrival they found one female (approx. 55 years old) to be medically trapped in one vehicle.

Crews assisted with extrication and left the casualty in care of Yorkshire Ambulance Service. 

After making the scene safe, crews left the scene in hands of West Yorkshire Police.

Crews from Bradford and Killingbeck attended as they were both on standby providing operational cover at stations nearby.

Fire on first floor of domestic property, also affecting roof.

On arrival, the initial incident commander requested an aerial appliance attend.

Fire crews dealt with the fire using 1 aerial, 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and 1 positive pressure ventilation fan.

This was a kitchen fire - kitchen measuring 5m x 7m 100% involved.

Crews used 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reels and positive pressure ventilation to extinguish the fire. Yorkshire Ambulance Service attended for 1 adult male suffering smoke inhalation.

2 engines from Huddersfield and 1 from Meltham attended.

Smoke detectors fitted and working.

Incident now reduced to 2 fire engines. Partner agencies Northern Gas Network and Northern Powergrid also attended.

We have scaled down to 2 fire engines and 1 aerial appliance at scene. They have 2 hosereels and 1 aerial in use.

Incident now scaling down with supporting resources and officers leaving the incident.

No persons involved or injured and all persons accounted for.

 

INCIDENT

Crews were initially mobilised to an unknown fire in the Holbeck area.

Crews responded to reports of a house fire with the 3rd floor involved in fire.  Crews used 4 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reels and an aerial appliance to extinguish the fire.  1 casualty suffered from burns and smoke inhalation and was treated by ambulance on scene.  Smoke detection was fitted and working at the time of the incident.
